Surprise Young Students
A science themed charity team building event, Space Odyssey has your corporate or business teams compete against children from the local community to build a better rocket. A combination of indoor and outdoor corporate team building, this “hands-on” team building has a fun twist as businesses also donate a complete rocket kit to children attending the event. A perfect business team building event for companies that want to encourage young scientists in our next generations.
A great way to encourage young science, engineering, and math students to pursue their dreams! TeamWorx will find young people in the local area of your meeting that have shown an aptitude and interest in science, engineering, and/or math and invite them to participate in the program with you… as surprise competitors!
Each team will work together to build the best rocket possible from many choices, and then compete against other teams in an actual launch competition based on altitude, accuracy, cargo capacity, and actual cargo carried.
Rocket Launch Competition
Team communication, collaboration, teamwork, and leadership will be on display as every person will be engaged for the entire program! Best delivered at 2 to 2.5 hours, Space Odyssey can be modified to fit any schedule.
Astronaut Mentors
Our astronaut team is led by Space Shuttle mission commander Rick Searfoss. Commander Searfoss flew the Space Shuttle on three missions and is actively engaged in all phases of modern rocket flight including test flying rocket planes!
He has appeared on Donald Trump’s Apprentice, national TV commercials, and has delivered thousands of presentations to corporate groups and children.
